For the Love of Champagne

Designed by Zoƫ Stanton, this is a set of sell-filling Champagne flutes which are made of hand blown pyrex glass.

It is a very clever design as it gives an equal share of a bottle of bubbly just in one pour.

Raindrops over the Atrium

The existing Slater & Gordon Building in Melborune has a very small but narrow atrium with office floors flanking on the north and south sides and glazed structure on the east and west. NDYLIGHT thus created a unique light element that extend the visual effect within the narrow atrium.

The installation has an abstracted concept of individual raindrops falling in an invisible pool. The final outcome of the design is expanded exponentially after hours by reflections in the glazed and mirrored surroundings.

Private Theatre Room

This must be a dream private theatre room for die-hard movie fans!

All the equipments are hidden in the concealed storage behind the framed movie posters! So the entertainment room looks tidy and professional without exposing DVD collections and any equipment. What a smart idea!

Lake House

How would you design your house if you had one right beside the lake?

The design by Olson Kundig Architects for this waterfront home on Lake Washington combines the themes of nature, art and the science of sustainable design.

The interior spaces are naturally ventilated and lighted. With a glass sculpture suspended just below the skylight, colored lights that trace the sun's arc are projected across the wall.

The tall ceiling height of the living area and the tall glass wall compliment the beautiful lake scenery outside the house. The plain wall on the side picks up the exterior colors and glows accordingly. This wall together with the glass panels form a glamorous feature wall which truly connects nature to the interior.

Bring Four Seasons into the House

This is a slender house which has a 12m frontage and a mere 3.6m depth. Located right in front of a maple forest in Kyoto, glass panels have been use as the back side wall of the house so as to bring the superb view of the forest into the house.

Though the floor area of the house is only 13sqm, the outside landscape has become an integrated part of the house and hence the interior space looks much more spacious than its original size.

I would really love to go there in autumn, when the room is stained by bright red autumn leaves!
